Josh, I replied on that Time post but I'm not sure if you read it.
But to answer some questions:
"Joe, I know you are busy here, but do you agree with the fact that there is a biased against Christianity?"
It really depends on what you mean by that, because there is a bias against Atheists, against Christians, against Muslims, against Jewish, against homosexuals, against basically anything known as a 'group' even though this may not be a true group in a sense but people that are viewed as the same.
"The ACLU has been ripping crosses off war memorials because it "offends" people. On my site, I have a story about how a boy wasnt allowed to dress as jesus for halloween because it was religeon, even though he was surrounded by witches and devils."
- Sure I see that happening a few odd times, just as much as I have seen Christianity rally against something that they do not view as right. Am I saying they were right not letting the child wear a Jesus costume? Of course not.
"It just seems to me that a lot of people would just like to get any refrence to religeon out of society."
- I am one of those people to an extent, but not like you have shown. Here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada they passed a law in December not to have a Christmas tree in court buildings because it would offend people of other religions... and you know what? I was AT the proceeding arguing against this very ruling! I thought it was absolutely stupid taking out something that actually doesn't even have anything to do with Christianity.. just because it could symbolize it. Now I do have to say though that I am against things like George Bush attacking sovereign nations and killing thousands upon thousands of innocent men, women, and children just because "God told him". Also I don't think that things should be forced on people not of a certain religion, I mean let's take prayer in school. I don't believe people should be forced to have prayer in school, but on that very same argument I don't think that anybody should stand in the way of a christian praying where and when they want to.
I hope that answers your questions.
- Joe
